Pour5

Your bar's numbers stay yours.

This is how Pour5 handles what it knows about you and your bar. It covers this website, pour5.com, and the Pour5 app. Last updated September 12, 2026.

The short version

We collect what you give us and what your register gives us with your permission. We use it to run Pour5 for your bar. We do not sell it, show ads against it, or follow you around the web. Your bar's records belong to your bar. You can see them, take a copy, or have them deleted, and you can disconnect your register at any time.

What we collect

On this website. The beta form asks for your name, your bar, your email and what you want to tell us. It is emailed to us and not stored on the site. We count visits without cookies.

In the app. When you sign in with Google we get your name and email, so we know who you are in your organization. That is all we take from Google, and we use it for nothing else. Everything else is what you put in.

From your register. If you connect Square, we read your items, sales, stock counts and business profile, and we change items only after you approve each change. We keep what sold, when and for how much, and nothing about the person who bought it. Square's own privacy policy covers what Square does.

What we do with it

We use it to run Pour5 for your bar.

We use Google for data processing, and Google does not keep your data or train on it. We use Open Food Facts and UPCitemdb for barcode lookups. Nobody who works for us on this gets your data for their own use.

We learn from all of our bars how bars work in general, and that stays general. We never publish your numbers, your bar's name, or anything that could be traced to your bar without asking you first, each time.

We do not sell your data, show ads, market to you from your records, or track you on other sites.

Where it lives

On Google Cloud, in the United States. Encrypted in transit and at rest. Inside your organization, what a person can see depends on the role you gave them.

Inside Pour5, the people who build it can see your data when they are helping you or fixing something. There is no one else.

What you can do

See it. Everything Pour5 holds about your bar is visible in the app.

Take a copy. Write to hello@pour5.com and we will send you an export.

Delete it. Same address. A person does this, not a job that runs on its own. Your personal information is removed within 30 days of your request, and backups roll off within 90 days after that.

Disconnect your register. Any time. Revoke Pour5's access from your Square dashboard, or ask us and we will do it. Once access is revoked, Pour5 can no longer read or change your register. What we copied from it is deleted within 30 days of your asking, unless you ask us to keep it.

Changes

When this policy changes, the date at the top moves. If the change is to what we collect, how we use it, or who we share it with, we tell you by email first. Small wording fixes do not get an email.
