What using Pour5 means, for you and for us.
These terms cover this website, pour5.com, and the Pour5 app. Using either means you agree to them. Last updated September 12, 2026.
The short version
Pour5 is in beta and free while it is. Your bar's records belong to your bar. Nothing changes in your register until you say yes, and once you do, the change is yours. What Pour5 tells you is a tool, not a guarantee. What we built is ours, and what you see inside it stays inside. Either of us can stop.
The beta
Pour5 is early software. It is free for the length of the beta, and we will tell you before that changes. Things will change and break while you are using them, and we promise no particular uptime.
Either of us can end your part in the beta by saying so. If you have signed a beta agreement with us, the notice period in it applies. When it ends, you can have a copy of your data, and we delete the rest as the privacy policy describes.
Your account
You sign in with a Google account, and someone in your organization has to let you in. What is done from your account is done by you.
By using Pour5 you are telling us you are at least 18, using it for a business in the United States, and able to agree to these terms on its behalf.
Your data
What you put into Pour5, and the records it builds from that, belong to your organization. You give us permission to store it, work on it, and pass what is needed to the services named in the privacy policy, so that Pour5 can do its job. That permission ends when your data does.
We also learn from all of our bars how bars work in general. That learning has nothing of your bar in it, and it stays with us.
Your register
Pour5 changes your register only after you have approved the specific change. Once you approve a change, it is your change.
Square's terms govern your register. You can revoke Pour5's access at any time, from your Square dashboard or by asking us.
What is ours
The software, its design, the way it works, the Pour5 name and the jigger mark belong to Pour5, LLC. How Pour5 works is a trade secret. What you see inside it that is not public, you keep to yourself, and you do not share screens, recordings or access with anyone outside your organization.
Do not copy Pour5, take it apart to see how it works, or train an AI model on the software or its screens. Do not use what you learn inside it to build, help build, fund or advise a product that competes with it, while you use Pour5 and for two years after. Do not use Pour5 on behalf of a competitor, or to compare it against one for them.
Anything you suggest to us about Pour5 is ours to use, without payment or credit. Your own numbers are yours to do anything with.
If you break this section, the one-dollar limit below does not protect you, and we can ask a court to stop you at once, not only for money afterwards. This section survives your leaving.
Ending
You can stop at any time. Write to hello@pour5.com and we delete your account and your data within 30 days, with backups rolling off within 90 days after that.
We can end your access if you break these terms, look at another organization's data, run automated tools against the app, upload anything meant to harm it, or use it for anything against the law. We will say why.
Where the limits are
Pour5 is a tool, not a guarantee. Check its numbers before you act on them. The decisions you make on them are yours.
Pour5 is provided as it is, without warranties. Our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or one dollar, whichever is more. That does not limit what we owe you for gross negligence, wilful misconduct, or fraud.
If someone brings a claim against us because of what you uploaded or how you used Pour5 against these terms, you cover our costs.
Disagreements
Colorado law governs these terms. If something goes wrong, write to us first. If we cannot sort it out, the dispute goes to the state or federal courts in Colorado, and both of us agree to be heard there.
Changes
When these terms change, the date at the top moves. If the change affects your rights, your data, or what you owe, we tell you by email first. Using Pour5 after that means you accept the new terms.
These terms and the privacy policy are the whole agreement between us, unless you have signed a separate agreement with us, which wins where the two differ. If a court finds one part unenforceable, the rest still stands.
